Wedding Photography & Film in Cape Winelands.

Editorial-leaning wedding coverage for couples who want the day to feel like a magazine spread, not a stock catalogue. Two shooters, unobtrusive documentary through the ceremony and portraits, then a cinematic film cut for the couple and one short film for socials.

Two shooters, one voice

Every wedding runs with a lead shooter and a second shooter briefed at the pre-wedding meeting so the coverage is complete without being duplicative. The lead follows the story — bride prep, groom prep, ceremony, key portraits, first dance — and the second covers the reception details, guest candids and second angles on the ceremony and speeches. Both cameras are calibrated to the same white balance and colour so the delivered gallery reads as a single production. Card offload happens twice a day to a backup drive on site so nothing is trusted to a single card.

The films

The wedding film is a six-to-eight-minute cinematic edit paced to the emotional arc of the day: preparation, ceremony, portraits, celebration. It is scored to licensed music, colour-graded on a calibrated monitor and delivered in landscape 4K for archive and TV, plus a 90-second social film and a 30-second Instagram teaser. A short raw-audio moment from the vows is included in every film so the couple hears their own voices on the timeline. Where the couple wants a longer document — full ceremony, full speeches — we deliver that as a companion piece rather than lengthening the cinematic film, because the two audiences are different.

Gallery delivery, print and archive

Every wedding delivers a 48-hour sneak peek of 15 to 20 frames so the couple has something to share on Monday morning. The full gallery of 500 to 800 hand-edited photographs lands in six weeks via a private online gallery with print-shop integration, and on a USB heirloom drive delivered by hand where possible. The cinematic film lands at eight weeks. Raw files are not delivered — every keeper is edited, and the ones we do not deliver are missed-focus frames, blinks and duplicates that were never going to make the cut. Archive stays on our storage for five years, which covers most anniversary reprints and any legal need for identity confirmation from the day.
