1. Who we are

TimeSake Media (PTY) LTD ("TimeSake Media", "we", "us") is a South African company operating out of Cape Town. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and how you can exercise your rights under the Protection of Personal Information Act, 4 of 2013 ("POPIA").

Responsible party: TimeSake Media (PTY) LTD. Contact: hello@timesakemedia.co.za.

2. What we collect

We collect only what is required to quote, deliver and invoice a shoot: your name, email, phone number, company name, project brief, and shoot address. If you use our WhatsApp link or Google Business Profile to contact us, the same identifiers are collected by the respective platform under their terms.

3. Why we collect it

Personal information is processed for one of four purposes: (a) responding to your enquiry, (b) preparing a written quote, (c) delivering the shoot and final files, and (d) POPIA-mandated record-keeping for tax and audit.

4. Sharing

We never sell personal information. We share it only with the operators required to deliver the service: WeTransfer (file delivery), Google Workspace (email), and a South African accountant for invoice reconciliation.

5. Retention

Enquiry data is retained for 24 months. Invoicing data is retained for the seven-year period required by the South African Revenue Service.

6. Your rights

Under POPIA you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information; object to processing; and lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa). Email hello@timesakemedia.co.za to exercise any right.

7. Image licensing

Images of properties, products and people captured on our shoots are licensed to the commissioning client for the agreed usage. We retain the copyright and the right to display representative frames in our portfolio unless a written non-disclosure is signed at booking.

8. Changes

Material changes to this policy will be posted to this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
