Social Media Content in Hartbeespoort.
One production day, a full month of native-format content. We plan a shot list around your calendar — product pushes, behind-the-scenes, founder-in-frame, ambient B-roll — and deliver reels, carousels and stories cut for Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn, ready to schedule.
Native format matters
A reel is not a landscape video with black bars. Every vertical asset is shot vertical on a Sony FX3 with the sensor cropped to 9:16, or on an iPhone 15 Pro Max where the native platform look serves the story better. Reels open with a scroll-stopper hook in the first 0.8 seconds, cut on the beat, and end on a clear next-action prompt. Grid stills are shot square where they will land on the Instagram grid, and portrait where they will run as a Story or a LinkedIn carousel. TikTok gets its own edit — faster cuts, punchier text overlay, native-feeling music — because a Reel cross-posted to TikTok looks like a Reel cross-posted to TikTok, and it under-performs.
Captions, hooks and scheduling handover
Every asset ships with a caption, an alternate opener line, and five to eight hashtag suggestions grouped into reach tiers — big-reach discovery hashtags, mid-tier niche hashtags, and small-community tags for engagement. Captions are written to the brand voice we agree at the brief stage — never a generic emoji-heavy line that could belong to any account. The full month lands in a Notion database or a Google Sheet with asset preview, caption, hook, hashtags and suggested go-live date; the client's VA or in-house social manager can schedule straight from that view without re-writing anything. Scheduling itself is available as an add-on where the team wants us to publish for them.
Location and product mix
Most shoots happen at the client's own space — a design studio in Woodstock, a townhouse in Bryanston, a coffee roastery in Salt River, a co-working space in Rosebank — because the location itself is part of the brand story. Where the shoot needs a specific look we do not have on hand, we build a portable studio in a boardroom with painted flats and portable LED. Product shoots for hospitality and F&B brands are done in daylight kitchens with reflectors and a light hand — no plastic-looking food, no over-saturated cocktails, just the way the item actually looks on the pass.
