Sound first, because sound is what people quit over
Viewers forgive soft focus and leave immediately over bad audio. Every interview is captured on DJI wireless mics on the subject, with a second safety track and a room-tone recording for the edit. We choose the room for its acoustics before its looks — a carpeted office with soft furnishing beats a beautiful glass boardroom every time — and we kill the obvious offenders: air conditioning, fluorescent hum, a fridge in the next room, a courtyard with a leaf blower. In post the dialogue gets a full editorial pass: silence and breath management, EQ, gentle de-noise and consistent loudness so the vertical cut is as clean at 60% phone volume as the long-form is on desktop.
Two-camera setup and the edit that hides the joins
Where the brief and the room allow, we shoot two angles — a wider frame and a tighter one — so an answer can be trimmed without a visible jump cut. Where only one angle is possible, we cover the cuts with B-roll of the subject at work: the site walk, the sample drawer, the plan on the table, the hands on the material. That B-roll is shot at the same session and is what separates an educational video that feels considered from a webcam recording with a logo on it. Titles, lower thirds and end cards follow your brand, or ours if you do not have one yet.
